Happy Valentine’s Day.  Love is in the air and happiness abounds. Whether or not you have a companion to share your love with is not what I will focus on; instead, I want to share with you how to share your love with yourself. Take some time to appreciate you today.

For you today

  1. Spend some time looking in the mirror and tell yourself, “I love YOU,”and mean it.
  2. Tell yourself at least one physical feature that you like: i.e, your smile, teeth, sparkling eyes, bone structure, soft hands, etc.
  3. Find a positive and uplifting quote or Bible verse to think about throughout the day.
    • For instance, 1 Corinthians 13:4 “Love is patient, love is kind.”
      • Today, I [Insert Your Name] will be patient. Today, I [Insert Your Name] will be kind”
    • “Love is the blueprint for happiness.”- Lamar Cole*
      • Today, I will show love and will allow others to love me.
  4. Focus on happiness today. It doesn’t matter what is taking place, take some time to remember that everything has an end and beginning. Remember you always have HOPE.
  5. Do something that you enjoy today. For example, eat one of your favorite meals or dessert, put on your favorite song, take a walk or go running, etc
  6. Wear an outfit that makes you feel good today.
  7. Today try to look your best, feel your best, and be your best.
