CleverlyChanging.com was created in May 2010 as an outlet to help me share information I learned. My twin daughters were almost 24 months and I wanted to replace the many hours I had previously spent breastfeeding doing something else productive.
My husband and I have been happily married for 14 years. We believe in marriage, and understand that it is an opportunity to refine our characters. Marriage takes work, but we are in it for the long haul.
I graduated from college in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. After college I joined AmeriCorps NCCC and worked with under-served communities throughout the United States. I plan to return to graduate school and eventually get my doctorate in Child Psychology.
One of my missions on my blog is to bring awareness to the forefront about Sickle Cell Anemia and healthy-living. I share the highs and lows of parenting a child with Sickle Cell Disorder and Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes.
I’m a stay-at-home mom who home schools both of my daughters, so frugal-living is an important aspect of our lives. We live a debt-free and low-stress lifestyle. While pregnant, we were able to pay off over $50,000 of debt and other expenses. We are currently working to pay off our mortgage in 7 years. We sharing our practical frugal journey on Finance Fridays which is one of my weekly favorites.
ABOUT CLEVERLY CHANGING
Through Cleverly Changing I believe, together, we can help empower and inspire others to live cleverly, changing when necessary. It is also my goal to raise my daughters to be healthy women that love life and have enough self-awareness to believe they will move mountains. I want my children to live fearlessly and take calculated and educated risks.
CLEVERLY CHANGING BRAND INTERACTION
My blog is about chronicling experiences. I prefer to share my first-hand perspective when conducting reviews and giveaways. My readers rely on reviews, which are honest and authentic; therefore when possible, products from companies and brands should be sampled or provided to me in order for me to share my honest opinion. Integrity is paramount.
