Everyone needs groceries and coupon clipping can save money but is time consuming. Going to the grocery store is something that I rarely find time to do, so I write a list and send my husband, or I use Peapod.
Peapod offers great flexibility. I can buy groceries while watching my daughters play. I also think it is an easy way to shop with coupons, which allow the biggest bang for your buck. However, something a person should be aware of about Peapod’s service is that there is a minimum of $60 to order and they charge for delivery. Although the two above factors may deter a person immediately, don’t give up so fast. Depending on the time of day you want your groceries delivered, discounts are available. The last time I used peapod I saved a total of $55. I bought items that were on sale, chose a flexible delivery time, found an online $20 off coupon, and used manufacturer coupons.
Peapod’s groceries come from a warehouse so I noticed that the produce were fresh and the other products don’t look picked over. I gave the delivery guy a nice tip as a result of my sizable savings. The entire process was simple. So for busy Moms or Dads on the go, Peapod is the way to go.
Tip: Your manufacturer coupons have to be in an envelope and given to the driver.
Savings: Right now they are offering the following promotion:
$15 off your first order. RTMN15
$10 off your first order. Enter Code (AFFL3) in the promotional code box. Offer is limited to 1 per household.
*If this isn’t your first order, enter code (FREE DELIVERY) one time in the promotional code box at checkout and $7.95 will be deducted from each order of $100 or more within the 60-day period (not valid on the first order and must be within 60 days of the date you received your first delivery).
Favorites: I really like their Nature’s Promise Products.
