Even if you’re a master at multitasking, whenever you can reasonably delegate a job to someone else, why not? Recently, my husband and I have been wanting to spend more intentional time with each other. He is a hardworking doer, which is a trait that I love about him. But I also realize that my love language is quality time. Instead of begging for more time, I decided to free up some of his time so that we could enjoy more activities together. Ironically, who knew that more time would be afforded by letting a robot cut the grass? The Husqvarna Automower was the answer we needed and is perfect for almost any home with a lot of grass. It’s simple to use, reliable, and quiet.
Husqvarna Automower Easy Installation
The Eastern Trucking company came to our home and installed the Husqvarna automower. Installation took about two hours. We set up a time on a date that wasn’t raining and the installer came out and placed guidewire around the perimeter to help the automower learn where and where not to go. The automower doesn’t go across our sidewalk or across our driveaway and it avoids our plants and trees.
The Husqvarna Automower is Reliable
We had the Husqvarna Automower 430XH on our property for about 4 months. During that time only once or twice I can recall the automower stopping in the yard and not returning to it’s charging station, but for the most part, it has mowed the lawn without any hassles. With only the touch of a button, we tell the automower when to mow.
Thankfully, we got the automower right before our vacation season started. The automower was incredible and worked just as we expected when we were away on vacation. In fact, while we were gone it mowed our lawn and kept it short so our neighbors really didn’t even realize that we were away.
It’s also safe around children and pets. The blade has a cylinder disc underneath the automower. And by keeping the grass manageable, we rarely had a problem with weeds even getting a chance to grow. Typically, we ran the automower at night when our kids were inside. The video above shows how it navigated it’s way on our property.
Husqvarna Automower Runs Quietly
The best part about the automower is that it quietly mows the grass. I don’t like noise and for my podcast I do a reasonable amount of recording so it gave me more friend to record even when the grass was being cut. Prior to having the automower I had to schedule recordings when the grass was not being cut. In fact, we often programmed it to run at night and early in the morning. My neighbors didn’t even know that it was running. As a result of the automower being so quiet it to run at any time of the day.
Surprisingly, the Husqvarna Automower was my husband’s favorite gift this year. I loved it because my husband and I have been able to go on a few more dates, travel more, and enjoy learning more about the technology together. All of this just because he spent less time out in the yard. Overall, I feel like the automower is worth it because it is a gift that will keep giving. So I’d highly recommend to other families.
The History Behind the Automower
Husqvarna is The World Leader in Robotic Mowing
What does it take to make a robotic mower that can work around the clock to deliver a well-kept lawn in every yard – despite bad weather, complex shapes, steep slopes, narrow passages and other obstacles?
We would say, it takes more than 20 years of innovation, testing and refinement. Since 1995 we have been developing the original Husqvarna Automower® into the most proven, reliable and extensive robotic mower range available.
