Manage Mondays: Picture Storage Ideas from you

Photographer: AKARAKINGDOMS, www.freedigitalphotos.net

It’s Monday again and time for us to get our houses in order. This Monday I am wondering how my readers are storing their pictures. These are a few ways I store my pictures:

  1. SD storage card
  2. Jumpdrive/thumbdrive
  3. Frame them and showcase them around the house
  4. Photo box them
  5. Scrapbook
  6. Picture books (ie. books made from Shutterfly, Picaboo, Tiny Prints, Snapfish, etc)
  7. Albums
  8. Memory Books (we have one for each of our daughters)
  9. Computer files/camera/phone
  10. Personal website

After listing where all of my photos are, I know that this week I need to go through my computer files and make sure that all of the photos I want to keep are backed up on a separate hard drive and my photo jump-drive so I can be prepared if anything happened. I also would like to explore digital scrap-booking. It will also be wise for me to scan some of the precious photos that I never want to lose.

How are you storing your pictures? Please share any tips, stories, or advice!
