This post is shared in partnership with MVMT. All opinions expressed are my own.

One thing in life that will never change is our need to be timely. If you think about one factor that we will never truly control is time. Whether we are ready or not time will pass. And as I jot down my goals for this year, I am especially aware of my timing so I am in the planning process of setting small goals. My goals are small, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely (SMART),

That’s right, my goals are SMART, and if you want to make this year as productive as possible adding some SMART goals could be the way to go.

SMALL GOALS

Instead of only envisioning the end of an accomplishment, I’m thinking about and jotting down a beginning time in my planner. Everyday, I have an hour where I set aside time to work on things that matter to me and my future development.

WATCH BY MVMT FOR HER

Keeping time on my cellphone is nice in theory, but not so much in reality. I think for years I relied on alerts that my biological time clock often got ignored. Now that I’m a mom, I also realize that I need multiple external items that help me stay on track.

MVMT FOR HER REVIEW OF the VELA WATCH

I love that this watch is completely versatile and it matches my style. The black strap and frame are both sleek, chic, and elegant. It can easily be worn with a gown or with boots and jeans. I also love that the strap actually fits securely around my tiny wrist. This is the first watch review I’ve done on my in which I don’t need to have the strap-size adjusted. So this alone is one reason, I’m pleased with MVMT for her.

“Life, stop worrying and just live!”

MEASURABLE GOALS

So far how am I measuring my goals. So I want to write 2 ebooks. The process for me writing them begins with Stage 1 -5. Instead of trying to complete each stage all in one day, I work on one stage per day. For instance, the stages are as follows:

  • Stage 1: crowdsourcing
  • Stage 2: Outline
  • Stage 3: Writing the content
  • Stage 4: Formatting
  • Stage 5: Uploading to platforms

Reader Question

What are you doing differently to reach your goals?
