My twins love to build. They always loved constructing new creations. Recently, we partnered with K’NEX Education to share an unboxing video. The video shows my girls favorite new set: STEM Explorations: Roller Coaster Building Set. This set is recommended for kids ages 8 and up.
When I asked my kids what they like about the set, they immediately said “Everything.” When they elaborated they said, “I like that the roller coaster set comes with 3 different cool experiments. The track is also compatible with our other K’NEX bricks, so when we want to extend it and make one gigantic set, we can.”
Furthermore, as a parent, K’NEX has a lot of little pieces which worried me at first. However, my kids have developed a sense of responsibility to keep their K’NEX in one room. The building possibilities with K’NEX pieces seem endless so kids who love to build, like my children, can create almost anything they can imagine. For my family, this is a wonderful alternative to watching TV or playing video games for long hours. I love the creativity they are using on their own. I also love watching the complexity of the things they make change as they grow older.
K’NEX building sets usually have several building models that kids can create. Kids can also switch around the motors to create cool moving parts. K’NEX bricks are excellent at keeping my daughter’s attention for long periods of time. This STEM toy takes learning through play to a whole new level.
Additionally, I was thrilled to learn that K’NEX are made here in America. Read more about their Pennsylvania toy company below.
Please subscribe to my Youtube Channel because there will be more videos to come. The next video will show how to build the K’NEX education roller coaster set and the 3 science experiments that also came in the box.
