Moms Meet is a trusted website where parents can find health-conscious brands. Fast forward to this past August, when I heard about their blogging conference called WOWsummit. I was thrilled to see that the summit would be held in driving distance from my home. I signed up and I’m happy to share my pleasant experience.
WHY BLOGGERS SHOULD ATTEND WOWsummit
Attending a blogging conference is great because you get to meet bloggers in person. Nothing beats face-to-face interaction with people you are already following on social media. It’s also cool when you establish new relationships with people who live in your area. This WOWsummit was no different, I was able to see some of my favorite local bloggers, set up new connections, and meet brand representatives in person.
Conferences often facilitate meetings with extraordinary brands. If you have time, look up and familiarize yourself with the brands before going to the conference so you know what you can bring to the table. Often brands are looking for new blogging ambassadors to share your products with new customers such as your followers. So be prepared to say your elevator pitch hundreds of times.
WOWsummit SESSIONS
Day One’s sessions with seasoned bloggers was great because you could ask direct questions and receive their honest answers and opinions.
SPEED DATING WITH BLOGGERS AND BRANDS
Meeting brands first hand was a real treat. The blogging speed-dating segment seemed to be all a blur afterwards, but it was a very valuable experience for us bloggers. We all prepared our elevator pitches and tried to find the brands that best suited our blogs and readers so we can future set up a future partnership.
On day two we visited each brands booth and were able to test and see the brands products better. We had a lot more time to carry on a full conversation with them, so this was my all-time favorite moment of the conference.

FAMILIES ARE WELCOMED
What struck me on Day 2, was that most people attended with their entire families. Seeing people with their partners and kids is beautiful, so i enjoyed seeing entire families learning and exploring together.
KNOWLEDGEABLE SPEAKERS
The speakers were phenomenal. Hands down, my absolute favorite was Dr. Drew Ramsey, a physiologist who spoke about the relationship of food and mental health.
SOME CONFERENCES ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS THEIR SWAGBAGS
Overall, WOWsummit was a wonderful experience, the sessions, face-to-face experience with brands, and networking opportunities made it fully rewarding. Not to mention, that the swag was truly amazing as well! We received a ton of products that I will be reviewing on Cleverly Changing in the upcoming weeks.
Here were some of the brands who made a big impression on me for their commitment to ethics, safety, and environment sustainability:
Moreover, I had a fantastic experience at Mom’s Meet WOWsummit. Given the opportunity, I will definitely go to the summit again.
