About The Young Messiah
The Young Messiah is not just a story about Jesus. It’s the story about Jesus and his family. Heading into this film the producers knew this was a fresh take on Jesus and the Holy family. The filmmakers quickly realized Mary and Joseph faced many of the same problems as parents today.
As parents we are always faced with difficult decisions on what’s best for our children. I can only imagine how Mary must have felt when it came to raising Jesus. As a mom, it’s easy to wonder about trying to teach your child lessons and only hoping that they will adhere to your word. At times us mothers feel worry and guilt, I wonder if Mary, also struggled with these feelings as well.
