Purchase clothes from the clearance rack.
Try to buy clearance merchandise that has been marked down more than once. At many stores they mark things down at least three times before the items are no longer available.
Make sure to check your receipt to ensure that all of the prices are correct.
Additionally, I use space bags, baskets, or bins to store the clothes until the next year.
