Parents are you tired of searching through pamphlets, online sites, Facebook feeds etc just to find kid-friendly activities for your child? Do you want to try classes without a year-long commitment to see if they fit your child’s interests? If so, a new monthly subscription membership program just launched in the Washington, DC area that allows parents to instantly book kid-friendly programs across our area. A KidPass subscription will help make parents’ lives easier.
About the Founders
On Thursday, January 25, 2017, I attended the DC launch of KidPass and met one of the co-founders, Solomon Liou. Solomon shared that KidPass was founded in NY two years ago to help parents use tech to simplify kid classes and activities.
Kidpass was birthed from the founders’ common needs and frustrations with booking services for their own children. The company was founded by four tech gurus Aaron Kaufman, Chhay Chhun, Olivia Ballvé, and Solomon Liou. So KidPass is for parents, by parents.
How does the KidPass Subscription Work?
Parents purchase a monthly subscription to use the KidPass services. KidPass subscriptions start at $49/month. In honor of their recent DC launch, KidPass is offering parents the opportunity to try KidPass for just $19/month for the first month with code: dclaunch.
The goal of KidPass is to help parents:
Discover – activities by age, category, and location
Book – dates and times that work best for you
Experience – joy and show your KidPass confirmation
KidPass’ Exclusive Launch Partners
In addition, on launch day the following companies were present to greet families and get a firsthand look at some of their newest clientele.

Why the KidPass Subscription Service Excites Me
As a mom whose twins have different interests, I use to get bogged down by trying to research classes or activities for my kids to attend. There always seemed to be tons of places, but the reviews were mixed. KidPass is helping us simplify the research and booking process. In fact, it offers one place where parents can log on and sign up for a class at a great price. The online service is secure, reliable, and the classes give you opportunities to participate in unique experiences. KidPass was wildly successful in NY and so they are now branching out to give families in our region a chance to enjoy this service as well.
[clickToTweet tweet=”KidPass is like Mr. Rogers meets the 21 Century and Digital Age.” quote=”Tweet this: KidPass is like Mr. Rogers meets the 21 Century and Digital Age.” theme=”style5″] As a parent with two children, this is an attractive service because there isn’t a longterm attendee commitment. It’s great for parents with multiples and children of multiple ages because as your kid changes his or her mind, you can easily find a class to take him or her to.
