Learning More About St. Jude

Participate in the Give Thanks Walk. Over 65 cities are participating across America. #St.Jude

I am very excited to have another opportunity to visit St. Jude Children’s Hospital. This week I will be attending their Fitness and Nutrition St. Jude Blog Tour. St. Jude is gearing up for their annual St. Jude Give Thanks. Walk. I cherish the moments of being able to meet many families who are full of hope and gratitude. @StJude Give Thanks Walk #charity #nonprofit

During my first visit to St. Jude all of my many blessings were put into perspective. In many ways I could relate to moms who were fighting for their children to have the best life has to offer, and the moms who were deeply concerned about the health of their dear little ones. I could also begin to appreciate the hope St. Jude  provides by sharing much needed research which helps to make the lives of children around the world better.

It is an honor to be invited back as a St. Jude Blog Ambassador. I look forward to learning more about a hospital and all the work that goes into healing sick children worldwide.

Please follow my St. Jude journey this week! If you have any questions or would like to know something specific about St. Jude, leave a comment in the comment section or contact me on twitter.

Learn more about St. Jude

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. St. Jude has the world’s best survival rates for the most aggressive childhood cancers, and treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since we opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade. St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs we make, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Join the St. Jude mission by visiting
