Book Review: Precious Moments Storybook Bible

I recently received the cutest Children’s bible for review.  The Precious Moments Storybook Bible by Sam Butcher is a wonderful, beautifully illustrated, Children’s bible. It is great for morning devotions, nap-time, or bedtime stories with preschool age children. The Bible stories are retold from the International Children’s Bible. Below is what I like most about the Bible.

The Bible is a keepsake.

There is a spot for your child’s Family Tree, Church Record’s, and Favorite Things.  These sections help you remember all of your child’s precious moments. The Bible will also be great to pull out and show to your child when he or she is older.

The Bible includes special sections.

There are songs and prayers, so used completely your child and you will enjoy a balanced worship time together. The Bible also breaks down the stories into sections according to themes such as stories about faith, praise and wisdom and bible classics.

The Bible also lays out the stories in a way that is easy to read and understand.

When I first read it to my kids their eyes opened wide at the little children they saw displayed in the Bible Bible stories.  They asked more questions than usual and seemed to be fully engaged in the messages. They also wanted me to read several stories to them at one sitting, instead of just one. Their interests were peeked and worship time is more enjoyable for them.

Overall, I was very impressed with this Children’s Bible because it helps parents develop a God-centered worship time with their children.
