Review: Safety First Comfy Cushy 3-in-1 Potty

There are so many potties on the market it is really hard to decipher which one may be best for you and your child.  In my house we currently have 4 different types of potties (e.g., Fisher-Price Stepstool Potty).  I wanted to know which one worked best and I wanted to limit accidents around the house just in case my children were not able to make it to the bathroom.  The Safety First Comfy Cushy 3-in-1 Potty is the potty that we have had the longest. WHAT I LIKE BEST

I really like that the potty seat can separate and be placed as a child seat on our regular size toilet.  There are days when my girls like sitting on the toilet like their parents so this is a great feature to have on hand when it is needed.

I like that this potty is also a step stool so it has dual purposes.

There are several color options available.

All the plastic parts are easy to clean.

Easy assembly when instructions are followed.

The potty is transitional and for the cost is a pretty good deal.

LEAST LIKED

1. The cushioned seat.  My children like the plushness of the seat, I have noticed that it is one of their preferences, but it is a pain to clean.  Simply horrible.  If you are a parent with a potty training toddler, you know that their aim is not perfect so smears and spills are inevitable.

2. Assembly required.  While, it is not hard to assemble, it does take about 5 minutes to complete.  I feel like potties should not have tons of parts, but this one has just one too many.

If I can find a way to clean the cushion well, I would say this is an excellent potty option, but until then it is just OK.
