One of my favorite gospel musician’s is Smokie Norful. His music is inspiring. In the mornings, I like listening to his song Dear God. The instrumental portion is very soothing. It helps energize me just before a busy day. Recently, Mr. Norful, visited St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and shared his talents with the children and their families.
At the Grammy Awards® press conference it was announced that Smokie Norful received two Grammy nominations in the Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song categories.
Norful is being recognized for his work on his current release FOREVER YOURS. The album was Smokie’s first studio record in over five years and it has connected with audiences and fans around the world. He is also nominated for the song “No Greater Love,” a perfectly crafted and sweeping ballad that continues to top the Gospel radio chart.
Critically acclaimed, FOREVER YOURS, was number one on the Billboard Top Gospel Chart when it was released & continues to be a favorite among gospel consumers. Smokie has recently appeared on TBN nationally and internationally, both ministering and singing solidifying him as one of the top preachers and singers of our day.
Smokie partnered with St. Jude’s Children Hospital for their Thanks and Giving program. Please support St. Jude’s with the #StJudeGiveThanks and tell us in the comment section what you think about the featured video of Smokie Norful at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital:
