My First Youtube Video – Cheap to Chic

I really wanted to enter the Cheap to Chic contest hosted by Bronzegoddess01 on youtube.  The challenge was to find a cheap chic outfit for $20, the more pieces you buy the better.  Of course, I am a Macy’s addict and I knew I could find several items for $20, but she also suggested shoes too. Hmmm…that made the challenge a lot harder for me.  I went to Macy’s and searched for some clearance shoes under twenty when they were having their One Day Sale, but the shoes were not marked down too much below twenty and I would have left with only 2 or three items at the most.  As a result, I decided to go to my local thrift shop and try to find an outfit. This was a huge challenge for me because I once told my husband that I was allergic to thrift stores and their clothes.

Surprisingly,  I found so many items at the store I lost track of time.  When I came home, I asked my husband to pick his favorite and the outfit he picked is my contest entry.  I really adore the jacket because it adds a youthful sass to the ensemble.  I have wanted a pair of dark blue versatile shoes and now i finally have a pair that add a dash of pizazz. This week I will post some of of thrifty fits.  Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think.
